SPEED BIO

“SPEED” deTessieres began his amazing rise on the magic scene after graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Finance from the University of Maryland in 1993. He started his career in magic working with a local Entertainment Agency where he quickly became one of their most popular entertainers.  When it came to performing magic he was a super star, steadily performing 10 shows a week for private parties, small venues and stand-up magic!  As his experience and repiotoire grew, he soon ventured onto the big stage.  This is where “Speed” shined!  His super high energy and hyper personality combined with his professional business ethic changed the way magic was being performed. No slow dance routines or long winded stories, he got right to making magic fun, exciting and highly interactive. Over the next few years, Speed steadily expanded his performance range to include large stage illusions and an exciting dove act which he now routinely performs on a national and international level. As of 2023, Speed has now performed over 4950 live shows in over 26 states and 3 countries. His love of magic and entertaining audience continued to grow with the inclusion of his wife and assistant “Curl” in 2012.  The High Energy Magic of Speed show now has anything and everything… Exciting Magic, Witty Comedy, a Beautiful and Bubbly Assistant and of course, Amazing Magic and Illusions!
